Meeting the cost of conference attendance can be a significant investment. We offer various methods to bridge the gap between your financial considerations and the invaluable opportunities the conference provides.

Student Conference Scholarship
We are committed to sharing WIM’s supportive atmosphere, nurturing community, and educational resources with all lesbian, sexual minority, and gender expansive medical students. To that end, WIM offers a reduced (subsidized) registration fee to medical students as well as scholarship funds on a first-come, first-serve basis to medical students in need.

Financial Assistance Fund
For all those in financial need who are looking to attend our annual conference, WIM also offers a limited financial assistance fund to help cover some costs. Attending physicians, residents, fellows, significant others of WIM members, WIM members with disabilities, or members who are retired with limited income are welcome to apply.
