This is an exciting transition year for WIM. The Board
voted to develop a voluntary dues structure that will
help to support our annual working budget of around
$22,000. We have hired a part time administrative
assistant who has greatly enhanced our ability to
organize and outreach. Although WIM has been
self-sustaining over the past 25 years with generous
donations, we are establishing an annual structure to
help proactively cover expenses and allow us to expand
our web site and develop new programs. Please note
that this will be a voluntary contribution, but your
participation will allow you certain privileges, which
are noted below. Your decision to not pay dues, will
NOT remove you from mailings, invitations to
participate in conferences, but you will not receive
some of the advantages noted below.
A tier system has been created:
Donors - Donors would have access to the member’s-only portion of the website.
Supporting Donors - $600-1200/year. You would receive a optional credit $125 on your
tuition in the year donated. It is non-transferable and you would have access to the
member's only portion of the WIM website.
Legacy Donors - $1201 and above/year. You would receive a credit of $495 on their
conference attendance fee in the year donated that is non-transferable and have access to
the member’s only portion of the WIM website.

- Medical student – no charge - but must sign up
- Retired Physician - $50/year

- PayPal option to make donations/ register for conferences (one-time payment or set-up
a monthly payment plan). - Downloadable conference talks
- Access to contact information and email addresses of other members (This is an opt-in
option. Members may opt not to be visible to other members.) - Photos from conferences, family photos and news (new babies, graduation, new jobs,
weddings, grandkids, etc…) - Ability to network, allowing specialty networking, medical student outreach with
improved mentoring.
